The Place: Greer House

Greer House was built at the end of the 19th century. In the early years, the farm tried to grow cotton. The house has been empty for many years. In 2016, the home, barn and surrounding 16 acres were sold to the Appalachian Regional Healthcare System. At some point in the near future, it will be torn down to make room for an outpatient clinic.
